Escapa!
A fun little game written a long time ago with just JavaScript and HTML... not so unusual nowadays, but back then Flash was all the rage. Click and drag the red square, moving it out of the way of the blue rectangles.
Youtube channels
These are some YouTube channels I like.-
Two Minute Papers
Károly Zsolnai-Fehér takes various research papers and condenses them down into videos that are generally under 5 minutes long. They are like annotated abstracts in video form. Topics mainly relate to computer science: graphics processing, machine learning, computational sciences, etc. -
PBS Space Time
In-depth videos on the concepts and mathematics of physics, astrophysics, and cosmosology. -
Science & Futurism With Isaac Arthur
High quality, episode-length videos (~30 minutes) that discuss topics in science and futurism, being imaginitive with what advanced civilizations could achieve.
In particular, he likes to discuss these topics in the context of thermodynamics and compare them to works of science fiction (in particular, pointing out flaws in various works of fiction). -
3Blue1Brown
Makes topics in higher mathematics more accessible and understandible to students and enthusiasts with high quality animations and by explaining the abstract thinking that mathematicians use to solve problems. -
ElectroBOOM
An electrical engineer who teaches basic concepts in electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism in a zany, wacky, comical style that often involves humorous self-harm. -
Matthias Wandel
Matthias is a Canadian carpenter and craftsman who solves many of his problems in his shop with some basic ingenuity. His videos are educational and show how he designs and executes his plans in shop.
